and State Legislative/Regulatory Activies section (open
to IANA members only) keeps members informed of new and developing
issues that affect their operations. The Federal
Activities section
currently provides information on 27 categories of current and
pending legislation and regulations. The State
Activities section
provides the most recent updates to: most-recently active bills;
a summary grid of recent legislative activity in all states; a
summary map highlighting states that have relevant legislation;
the most active states, ranked in order of the amount of legislation
in that state; and, a "Categories
of Interest"
box linked to a list of legislation in the areas of idling/emissions,
overweight containers or roadability.
- The North
American Rail Intermodal Terminal Directory is a dynamic online
service that provides the most current information available on terminals
in North America. An integral component of the NARITD is the Motor Carrier Service Directory that lists member carriers and the terminals they serve.
