Overview of DVER Application and Enhancements — Roadside Enforcement Personnel

IANA’s Driver Vehicle Examination Report Service (DVER) provides Intermodal Equipment Providers (IEPs) and Motor Carriers (MC) with paperless DVER access, retrieval and storage to assist with roadability compliance requirements. As a DVER subscriber, Motor Carriers and Intermodal Equipment Providers will receive a copy of any DVER associated with US DOT Number should your driver neglect to supply a copy to you. DVER delivery is available via e-mail, XML or via API.

Overview of Enhancements to BOES, DVER & GIER

An overview of recent enhancements to IANA’s Driver Vehicle Examination Report Service (DVER), Bad Order Equipment Status Service (BOES), and Global Intermodal Equuipment Registry (GIER). The DVER web portal & distribution system provides an efficient method for intermodal equipment providers and motor carriers to be notified and receive a copy of DVERs resulting from roadside inspections. GIER is a virtual technology solution to meet the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations requiring the identification of intermodal equipment and the intermodal equipment provider responsible for maintenance and repair of that equipment. And BOES provides a clearinghouse for equipment status information (bad order, gate hold, release) that allows for standardization of data communication formats, simplification of operating system interconnectivity and streamlining of trading partner information for all participants as it related to bad order equipment.

Overview of New Online Insurance Process — For Insurance Agents

This webinar provides an overview of the new online submission process for agents to submit information on behalf of UIIA Motor Carriers. UIIA will be moving to a paperless environment by October 2016, which means all insurance will need to be submitted online once this transition is made. The new online process streamlines the submission process for agents to allow for smooth transition to full online insurance submission. In addition, agents will be walked through the online agent registration process as well and also given an overview of a few new enhancements that are available to their motor carrier insureds.
