IANA periodically hosts webinars designed to educate, update and inform intermodal industry participants on various topics that focus on industry challenges and solutions. Please check back periodically for new postings.
By enhancing and interconnecting the Global Intermodal Equipment Registry (GIER) and the Bad Order Equipment Status Service (BOES), IANA offers industry tools focused on ensuring a road ready chassis fleet. Please join Information Services staff for an overview of enhancements to these programs that were released earlier this year and are currently available to Intermodal Equipment Providers that are GIER and BOES subscribers.
IANA’s Bad Order Equipment Status Service — BOES provides a clearinghouse for equipment status information (bad order, gate hold, release) that allows for standardization of data communication formats, simplification of operating system interconnectivity and streamlining of trading partner information for all subscribers related to bad order equipment. This webinar will walk IEPs, Facility Operators and Maintenance and Repair Vendors through the features, functionalities and recent enhancements to the BOES application to show how it can be used as an industry tool for ensuring a road ready chassis.
