Mission & Los Rios District
San Juan Capistrano is often referred to as the birthplace of Orange County, a city full of history, legends, storybook heroes and beautiful archeological monuments. It also boasts the most beautiful of the California missions, Mission San Juan Capistrano, known as the “Jewel of the California Missions.” Founded by Padre Junipero Serra in 1776, this was the beginning of California’s rich multi-cultural heritage.

View the collection of antique pottery, artwork and the famous Catholic Church, which still holds masses every day.  Next, will walk down the oldest residential street in California, Los Rios, where you’ll see three existing adobe houses and stroll through the shops and restaurants which are a part of the Historic Landmark area. Then it’s off to lunch at the famous authentic Mexican restaurant, El Adobe. This long time hacienda was known to be Ronald Reagan’s favorite place for dinner when he resided in nearby San Clemente.

Laguna Art Walk
Famous for its Art Galleries, the Southern California paradise known as Laguna Beach will be the backdrop for the tour. A local artist will provide a wealth of information as you tour some of the city’s premiere galleries, learning about different art styles and painting techniques from this expert.

The quaint specialty shops and ocean side boutiques of Laguna Village will be your next stop, and here you can shop to your heart’s content. Lunch will be served at the famous cliff-side restaurant, Las Brisas. Known as the most photographed view in Laguna Beach, the Victor Hugo Inn, founded in 1938, was remodeled in 1979 to become the Las Brisas of California, after its namesake in Acapulco. Presenting authentic cuisine born from the Mexican Riviera with California flair, the menu presents a prize collection of recipes discovered along the 3,000 miles of Mexico’s West Coast.
