IANA Intermodal Rail Directory Now Offers Motor Carrier Service Info
CALVERTON, MD, July 24—The Intermodal Association of North America’s Dynamic North American Rail Intermodal Terminal Directory has been revamped to include a cutting-edge Motor Carrier Service Directory supported by Google Maps. This new functionality allows users to pinpoint specific terminals and identify supporting roadways at the click of a mouse. The newly-enhanced directory is available as a no-cost service to all freight transportation professionals and can be easily accessed from the IANA homepage at www.intermodal.org.
Detailed information is provided in the directory on over 200 IANA Motor Carrier Division members that offer drayage and highway services to and from intermodal rail facilities. Each motor carrier listing features detailed key contact and operating information plus links to e-mail contacts and company websites.
In addition to providing transportation professionals with important Rail terminal data, the directory offers a variety of cost-effective advertising opportunities to IANA members. Members can advertise their products and services on search and results pages on both the rail terminal and motor carrier service directory pages. These advertising opportunities are available on either a quarterly or annual basis.
“By enhancing the functionality and usefulness of this online directory, IANA continues its charge to provide easy access to information needed by intermodal transportation decision makers,” said Tom Malloy, IANA’s vice president. “We will continue to develop further enhancements to the site in the coming months, with the inclusion of information on key U.S. and Canadian Port facilities.”
IANA is North America's leading industry trade association representing the combined interests of the intermodal freight industry.
