Recent UIIA Revision – New MC Interchange Suspension Process (MC Session)

Open to All Webinar

Intermodal Interchange Executive Committee (IIEC) recently approved revisions to the UIIA that establish a new process for handling an EP’s suspension of a Motor Carrier’s interchange privileges. Effective January 20, 2020, all EPs will be required to issue notifications related to interchange suspensions via e-mail through IANA and the UIIA system. This will streamline the process by having all notifications for interchange suspensions coming from a single source versus multiple EP domains and ensure that MCs receive the proper notification of a EP’s intent to suspend interchange privileges as required under the UIIA.

Please join UIIA staff on Tuesday, January 14th at 2:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) for a brief overview of this new process.
