Silver Kingpin Award

The Silver Kingpin recognizes an individual or individuals who have had a significant impact on the growth and advancement of the intermodal freight transportation industry. The award was initiated in 1977 and is presented annually during the Intermodal EXPO.

"The Silver Kingpin award is important because it’s given to you by your peers. And it's an award that people don't work for. It just happens and it's very special. I was very surprised and honored when I received the Award in 2004 as it has been given to people in the industry that deserved it.” Ray Tippit
