Weathering the Storm: Emergency Preparedness for Today’s Intermodal

Open to All Webinar

The 2024 Atlantic hurricane season officially began on June 1, and it is, unfortunately, expected to be an active year. With this heightened risk, making sure your operations are prepared is more critical than ever. Planning for emergencies before they strike can significantly reduce lasting impacts, as you take steps to avoid becoming one of the nearly 4 in 10 businesses that never resume operations after a disaster, according to FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency). Join us as we hear strategies for protecting the supply chain from various industry perspectives. This session is open to non-IANA members.

Refocusing on the Mexico/U.S. Cross-Border

Members Only Webinar

The boom in doing business with Mexico was apparent in 2023 like never before. For the first time in two decades, Mexico topped the list as the United States' number one trade partner. Port Laredo, Texas is now responsible for more international trade than any other port in America, 98% of which comes from trade with Mexico. Is intermodal's “golden era” for U.S.-Mexico cross-border upon us during these otherwise uncertain geopolitical and environmental times? Or are changes ahead in 2024? Our panel of key industry players weigh in, providing an update on the state of nearshoring and its impact on rail network changes.

Electrifying Confidently: How to Begin Incorporating EVs Into Intermodal Fleets

Open to All Webinar

Discover how intermodal fleets can approach electrification, with advice from the nation's leading heavy duty charging infrastructure provider, TeraWatt. Key Takeaways from this webinar. • Learn where fleets can start on electrification (no need to go big right away, there are tons of ways to start really small, test the trucks and how they fit into your operations before scaling up) and what we are learning about total cost of operations based on the trucks that are on the roads today. • Discuss l how strategically positioned charging sites can help fleets minimize any operational disruptions and continue charging just like they fuel up today with diesel. There will be a Q&A session at the end of the webinar.
